Forage Wagons
Attention
to detail has made McIntosh (MCB) Forage Wagons
an accepted and respected name throghout New
Zealand and Australia. MCB Forage
Wagons offer true, long lasting value, the outcome
of quality engineering and manufacture.
These machines cost less to operate and
maintain. The changing needs of farming
today is reflected in our commitment to continual
improvement of our product range.
Pressed
steel body. Fully welded pressed steel
body (3mm), with vertical and horizontal ribs, gives
superior strength and durability. No
bolted or riveted joints. Sealed joints elimiate
rust traps.
Gearbox
The
floor is hydraulic driven through a heavy duty reduction
gearbox. Gearbox drive is available
for elevator drives as an option. Separate
motors are used for the floor, elevator, and cross
conveyor (where fitted). An oil control
valve allows infinite control of floor speed to
regulate feeding out, it is also fitted with a pressure
relief valve to prevent overloading of floor chains.
Bumpers
Bumpers
on all models.
Bath tub body design keeps tyres inside body line
of wagon. All machines have bumpers
fitted to protect conveyors. T-type
draw bar prevents tyres fouling during tight turns.
Mudguards
Mudguards are fitted to all models keeping the machine
cleaner. Ladder is standard.
Painting
All machines are sand blasted prior to application
of our high quality paint system. This
gives our machines a durable long life finish.
Conveyor
Cross Conveyor.
Now available in 1200mm wide (standard 900mm). The
conveyor belt is driven by large diamenter drive
rollers to prevent slipping and kept running straight
and true by the tracking strip on the under side
of the belt.
Cross Conveyer heights, for feeding into troughs
are among the best available (630-730mm high) and
can be made higher or longer on request.
Conveyor - IN
Conveyor - OUT
Conveyor Extension.
Cross conveyor mountings are constructed to allow
the total unit to be manually moved out 200mm, for
better feeding into troughs or along fence lines.
Hydraulic extending unit is optional.
Elevator
Vertical Elevator
The height and angle of our elevator is the result
of years of extensive field testing, resulting in
a design that is highly efficient but has a low
power requirement. The front screen
can be opened to gain access for greasing and cleaning.
Weigh Scales
Weigh Scales.
Electronic weigh scales can be fitted to any size
forage wagon to provide accurate and consistent
feeding out (specify when
ordering). These units feature
heavy duty load cells specifically constructed for
mobile equipment.
All
equipment is guaranteed for a period of 12 months
from date of entering service, provided that such
equipment has not been subjected to improper usage
and or overloading or any other conditions contrary
to the manufacturers specifications or recommendations.
Specifications and design subject to alteration
without prior notice.
